The plants are loving the extra warmth and sunlight! You can see from the picture below that the leaves are starting to stretch. Cotyledons are the first pair of leaves plants grow from seed. These are the smaller, rounder leaves which do not resemble the mature plant’s leaf shape. Cotyledons get their energy from the seed itself, which is why seeds and young sprouts don’t need any plant food!
